This is an original and quite rare flower vase designed by Czech sculptor Jindrich Marek and produced by renowned Royal Dux Bohemia.

Jindrich Marek’s works is perhaps not as known and appreciated as work of his friend and colleague Jaroslav Jezek but Jindrich Marek was definitely a great artist and designer.

After gratuating from Academy of Arts in Prague, where Marek studied under legendary sculptor Otto Eckert, Jindrich Marek started his carreer at Royl Dux ceramics. His work was influenced by the Mid Century Modern which he sucesfully developed in terms of shapes or decoration.
