This cabinet is believed to be made in the 1970's in Germany. It used to be imported to communist Czechoslovakia in small quantities and was sold as a luxurious western product that not everyone could afford to buy.

The cabinet is made of bamboo and wicker in a dark brown colour and consists of two pieces that are simply stacked on each other.

It's design is a mix of Post Modern and Bohemian style. The lower part is a slightly deeper cabinet with two doors and one shelf inside. The top part is higher and thicker with three shelves inside. The main frame of both cabinets and their doors are made of oval bamboo, the rest is thick wood covered by wicker. On the top and at the very bottom, it has a bended bamboo creating a decorative motive.

Because of the materials used, both parts are not heavy and can be easily moved and also used separately.

This cabinet is in good vintage condition with some small wear and patina on the wooden parts and minimal wear on the wicker.
