This is an original Mid Century nightstand designed and produced by Novy Domov in former Czechoslovakia in the 1960’s .

This piece has a rich colour of the beech wood that contrasts nicely with the black coloured top. The nightstand stands on four legs (that can be unscrewed if necessary) and consists of three drawers. The back side is made of beech wood as well and therefore this stand can be use flexibly in an interior. This piece has nice proportions of all elements and what is particularly nice are the details - softly curved shapes in the drawers instead of handles and curved top corners.

Produced in the 1960s, the nightstand still holds great design appeal and is the perfect addition to a collector’s home.

This piece is in very good vintage condition with some small wear and patina on the wooden parts, (mainly the black top) gained by its use over the years.
