This is an original wall light designed and produced by Instala Decin in the 1960’s Czechoslovakia.

The light is made of delicate pastel pink coloured glass and was designed in the Mid Century Modern style.

The main steel body of the light can be hung on the wall, and includes the bulb and a short on/off wire which is hidden behind the curved glass. The shape of the glass is not only aesthetically pleasing but also perfectly practical. It allow the light to shine upwards while hiding the bulb and the fittings. The glass itself can be adjust which makes any necessary manipulation of the light very easy.

This light is in original condition with some minor wear and tear. A very small scratch near one of the steel screw on the side and hair crack near the other one. This however doesn’t have any impact on the stability of the glass and is not very visible. All parts are original and are fully functional.
